Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this here OMEGA Speedmaster. My grandson, he’s always goin’ on about fancy things, showed me this watch. Says it’s a big deal. Now, I ain’t one for fancy, but this OMEGA, it’s somethin’ else.
This Speedmaster Date, that’s what they call it. It ain’t just a watch, it’s like a little piece of history. They say it went to the moon! Can you believe it? We used to watch that on our little black and white TV. This OMEGA Speedmaster, it’s been there, done that. Tough as nails, this thing.
My grandson showed me pictures. This Original OMEGA Speedmaster, it’s got all these little dials and buttons. He tried to explain ’em to me, but, land sakes, it’s all too much for this old brain. But it sure does look important. Like somethin’ a pilot would wear. Or one of them astronaut fellas.
They started makin’ these OMEGA watches way back. 1957, I think it was. Or was it 1848? Oh, my memory ain’t what it used to be. Anyway, a long time ago. And they’re still makin’ them. That says somethin’, don’t it? These are good stuff. A good OMEGA Speedmaster is luxury.

- My grandson says you can even swim with it.
Now, I wouldn’t go swimmin’ with somethin’ that fancy, but it’s good to know you could. Keeps the rain out, I reckon. You know, back in my day, we didn’t have watches like this OMEGA Speedmaster Date. We just looked at the sun. And we were just fine, thank you very much.
This OMEGA, it’s also got somethin’ to do with a dog. Snoopy, they call him. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know nothin’ about that. Somethin’ about an award. Seems these astronaut fellas used this here OMEGA Speedmaster to do somethin’ important in space. Saved their bacon, my grandson said. So they gave the watch people a Snoopy award. It’s a big deal, apparently. This make this OMEGA Speedmaster even more valuable.
These Original OMEGA Speedmaster watches, they ain’t cheap. But my grandson, he says they’re worth it. He says it’s like buyin’ a piece of history. And he’s probably right. It’s a good watch, this OMEGA. Real good.
The new ones are still good. That OMEGA Speedmaster Date, that’s a new one. But it is still built on the old model. Tough like the old one. And it’s got that date thing on it, so you know what day it is. That’s handy, I suppose.
My grandson, he says there’s different kinds of these OMEGA Speedmasters. Some are special, they call ’em “limited edition.” Means they only made a few of ’em. Makes ’em even more special, I reckon. This Original OMEGA Speedmaster is the most popular one, though.
The first Snoopy one, from 2003, they only made a little over 5,000. Then another one, a white one, in 2015, less than 2,000 of those. Now there is a silver one, came out in 2020, but they are makin’ as many as people want.
These are the Original OMEGA Speedmaster! It is so famous. Everybody wants one. If you want a good watch, you need to get an OMEGA Speedmaster.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good watch, somethin’ that’ll last you a lifetime and then some, you might wanna look at this OMEGA Speedmaster Date. It’s a good one. My grandson says so, and he knows about these things.
Just don’t go jumpin’ in the lake with it, even if it can handle it. It’s too nice for that. You take care of it, and it’ll take care of you. Just like them astronaut fellas. They took care of their OMEGA Speedmaster, and it helped them get home safe. That’s somethin’, ain’t it?
This OMEGA Speedmaster is a good watch. It is a luxury watch. It will last a long time. You can get an Original OMEGA Speedmaster or a new one. They are both good. You will be happy to have a good watch like this.
